On-campus students got a chance to step away from their studies and skate Monday night at Starlight Skatium.
The free event was held by Lead Hogs, a registered student organization that works closely with University Housing.
Students signed up in advance through HogSync for a on-hour slot. Each slot brought in a new group of people looking for fun.
The event lasted from 6-10 p.m. and was a great time for friends to hang out and skate together.
Skaters had a choice of rollerblades or traditional skates. They arrived mostly in groups and skated to tunes like “Dynamite” by BTS and “Toxic” by Brittany Spears.
The event required face masks while inside the building and social distancing was practiced.
Keep an eye out for any future events from Lead Hogs! You never know what you might be missing.
