The Global Series continues by learning about the history and culture of Bolivia. The presentation begins at 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, Oct. 27, in the Holcombe Hall living room.
Bolivia is a land of beauty with a fascinating landscape and a multitude of mountains such as the epic Andes Mountains.
With over 37 official languages, Bolivia is a gemstone to be discovered, said event organizer Shemsa Ndahiro Iribagiza.
Tatiana Shi will present on the country of Bolivia.
“I want people to learn about Bolivian culture and see it as a unique and exciting place people should add to their bucket list,” Shi said. “It’s a diverse, mysterious, but exciting country.”
Global Series is a program that offers international students, domestic students with a study abroad experience, an opportunity to share their culture, beliefs, and traditions with the UARK community.
We want to feature and celebrate distinct cultures represented on campus. We want to learn about the different homes of our international students and the experiences of our domestic students in new countries.
This event is open to all students, staff, and faculty as well as Fayetteville community. We encourage attendees to invite their families and friends.
