The Future of Housing on the Hill
Two new residence halls, Maple Hill Central and Maple Hill North, are rising to meet the growing needs of our campus community—purpose-built spaces designed for belonging, wellbeing and student success. Opening Fall 2028, Maple Hill Central will provide 740 new beds and modern amenities, inclusive design and the welcoming UARK experience students expect from living on campus.
Growth on Campus
Student enrollment and demand for on-campus housing continue to rise. Research shows that first-year students who live on campus feel more connected, receive greater support, and are more likely to succeed academically. These two new residence halls increase our capacity to welcome first-year students while creating additional space for upper-class communities across campus. Together, they underscore our commitment to belonging, student success, and providing a welcoming home at the University of Arkansas.
