May 15 marks the beginning of summer housing.
Summer school housing contracts are available at housing@uark.edu or by calling 479-575-3951. Current students can pick up a contract at the University Housing Office, 960 W. Douglas St.
Complete the contract and return it to Housing as soon as possible. Space is reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. The contract covers a complete summer session.

Housing is available for currently enrolled students to live on campus during the May Intersession. Intersession housing is part of the summer housing contract. Contact University Housing at 479-575-3994 or at housing@uark.edu for more information. Intersession housing lasts from May 15 to 27.
Interim Housing
University Housing has an option for current residents to stay on campus in their summer room assignment between the Spring and Summer sessions. You must be enrolled in both Spring and the first 5-week or the 10-week Summer sessions to qualify for interim housing.
Contact your hall administrative assistant to complete an extended stay request form for interim housing.
The nightly charge of $30 is billed to your student account and is not part of your summer or academic term charges.
Students must move from their spring room into their summer room from 1-4 p.m., Tuesday, May 17.
Housing Considerations
Storage During Summer
Current residence hall students who contract for summer school housing and can provide proof of household or renter’s insurance may store items by contacting the Northwest Quad administrative specialist, 479-718-7802, Monday – Friday, during regular business hours.
Items may be placed in storage at Northwest Quad May 9 and 10, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. by appointment only.
University Housing does not accept responsibility for personal items left in storage at any time and may not be held liable for any losses or damages. Proof of insurance is required.
Hot Water Shut-off
All hot water on campus will be shut down between May 22 through 26.
Disability Accommodation
Please contact the Center for Educational Access (CEA) at 479-575-3104 and set up an appointment to meet with them if you have a disability that may require an accommodation.

Hello,
This summer I will be taking classes during the May intersession and during both of the 5 week sessions. I will be living off campus during this time. I’d like to know how I can sign up for a summer meal plan.
Thanks
We will contact you by email, Ezra. Thanks for asking.
Hello,
I am in the same situation as Ezra, I am living off campus and would like to purchase a meal plan
I’ve emailed you directly to give you more details about purchasing a plan.
Hello,
I will not be enrolled in summer school this summer, but I will still be working in Arkansas and would like an off campus meal plan. Is the meal plan the same for on campus and off campus? Thank you,
Krista Kolbinskie
I’ve emailed you directly. However, I do believe that summer meal plans are only divided between 5- and 10-week plans not on- and off-campus meal plans.
