University Housing is proud to present a new program designed from the ground up to educate students on the importance of personal finance skills.

With this program, we will be taking a step into the lives of famous musicians from all genres to see how they dealt with various financial decisions that face students every day.

With outsized personalities and shoe-string budgets, these hit makers used some creative means to save – or spend – their newfound wealth.

Come join us at 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 7 in Gearhart Hall’s1st floor Honor’s Lounge for a night of fun and music.

Jason Rankin, associate director for the Treasurer’s Office, will guide students in a discussion of what it really means to be financially prepared.

As an added bonus, free Whataburger will be offered to students, as well as a chance to win numerous prizes, such as a vinyl record player and vinyls, a new guitar, and other music-themed prizes.

We hope to see you there!
