Orientation is here once again. The incoming freshman are arriving on campus and preparing for classes to begin in the fall.

Booths were set up inside of the Arkansas Union’s International Connections Lounge to help inform students and parents about different organizations that students can be involved in around campus.

University Housing set up their own booth to answer any last-minute questions that people may have regarding Move-in 2018 and what it is like living on campus. Did you know that students can join organizations through Housing such as the RIC (Residents’ Interhall Congress), NRHH (National Residence Hall Honorary) and LeadHogs?

Incoming student, William Reid from Grand Rapids, Michigan, stopped by the booth last week to ask about what things are allowed in the residence halls as well as last minute times for Move-in. Reid plans to live in Pomfret Hall next year.  When we asked him what he was most excited about for this next year he said he was looking forward to being involved in campus life.

“I am excited to be close to so many campus activities,” he said.
