University students received a survey last week asking about the future of on-campus student housing.
The survey was sent to each student’s university email account, and it takes about 12 minutes to complete. It asks about several topics, including floor plans, rates and amenities.
Participants have the option of being entered into a drawing for several Amazon gift cards, including one $250 card and nine $100 gift cards.
The university partnered with El Dorado Architects and The Scion Group to plan the future of student housing and assess preferences for student housing in the coming decade.
“The data from this survey will be among the most important information we glean from the study, so we need as many students as possible to complete the survey by the end of the week,” said Jon Shaffer, assistant vice chancellor for housing.
“The survey specifically drives at understanding who our students are and the unit types and price points we should be considering with future campus housing.”
Students can find the survey email with the subject line “Share Your Feedback and Enter to Win a Gift Card!” The survey closes Saturday.
This survey is voluntary and confidential. Responses will be analyzed and reported such that the identity of survey respondents is protected. You must be a current student to take the survey.
Other elements of the housing growth study include analysis of University Housing’s existing facilities, the current Fayetteville rental market, recent enrollment growth and future predictions and numerous focus group meetings with students.
