University Housing staff got our first chance to meet the incoming #UARK20 class in person during the Orientation sessions this June.

You brought some great questions to the table. We appreciate it. Your enthusiasm gets us excited about classes starting this fall.

Most questions dealt with the Move-In 2016 dates, what to bring and how to tour a residence hall.

There are two ways to tour residence halls. Physical tours are offered during Orientation. You can follow along with the #UARKHome Live! digital tours this July.

The Orientation tours included the following halls: Founders, Futrall, Holcombe, Humphreys, Maple Hill South, Northwest Quad and Reid.

We chose these halls because they are indicative of the styles of other rooms we offer on campus.

Here is a style match-up for halls that are not on the tour list.

  • Humphreys = Yocum and Pomfret
  • Futrall = Buchanan-Droke, Gladson-Ripley, Gregson and Gibson

Each room is a standard double room/suite room.

#UARKHome Live!

uarkhome-live-3While Orientation sessions end in early July, Housing will offer digital tours of each residence hall starting July 11.

These interactive digital tours will be broadcast through Facebook. We’ve created an event for each tour, so feel free to RSVP in advance.

It’s a new process for us, but we’re excited to be able to show you the inside of each residence hall and answer your questions as we go.

Some bonus sessions include an overview of campus dining, a session on preparing your technology for the move and a demonstration of the move-in process.

Hall Information Sheets

We produced some documents to help with your move-in process. These documents were distributed at the information table, but we’re providing them here as well for ease of use.
