Orientation is here and the incoming freshman are arriving on campus and preparing for classes to begin in the fall.

Booths were set up inside of the Arkansas Union’s International Connections Lounge to help inform students and parents about different organizations that go on around campus.

University Housing set up their own booth to answer any last-minute questions that people may have. Did you know that students can join organizations through Housing such as the RIC (Residents’ Interhall Congress) and LeadHogs?

Incoming student, Paige Wagner, stopped by the booth last week to ask about what things are allowed in the residence halls. Wagner plans to live in Maple Hill South next year with random roommates, but she said that does not scare her.

“I have connected with one of them through Snapchat, but other than that, I am just being positive and I hope it all works out,” she said.
